Destination: Orlando, FL
Itinerary Highlights: Loews Portofino Bay Resort and Universal Orlando, with one day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Special Memories from the Trip: My favorite memory from the trip would have to be riding Hagrid for the first time. I am a very avid Harry Potter fan. The thing I like most is that even though the books and movies have ended, they still come up with ways to bring new content, such as new rides at the park. The ride perfectly captured Hagrid’s world and was simply just the most fun I’ve ever had on a roller coaster. The motorcycle made you feel like you were really riding a motorcycle on the ride. And, let’s just say, so as not to spoil things, there a nice surprise at the end of the ride! I’ve been immersed in this world since 2001, and while I enjoy it tremendously, nothing beats seeing my children find joy in it as well.
